WHAT WE DO

At Leadership Search Partners (LSP), we are passionate about delivering professional, high quality executive search services to community-based nonprofits.

We provide retained executive search services to organizations seeking Executive Directors/CEO’s, Development Directors and other members of the senior management team (including COOs/CFOs/Program Directors) who report directly to the executive director. We serve local, regional and national nonprofits based or with regional offices in the Western United States(California, Washington, Oregon and Nevada) in a wide range of fields, and only take on a search when we truly believe we can provide exemplary service and outstanding results. Our typical clients have annual budgets between three and one hundred million dollars. But we do work with smaller and larger organizations where we can add value.

The hallmarks of our work are a deep commitment to personalized service, the proven ability to match organizational culture and leadership needs, not just skills and experience, and doing what it takes to ensure our clients do not settle for second best.

HOW WE DO IT

We take a holistic approach to our work, bringing an understanding of the whole organization, and its culture and values, to each project. We offer our clients expertise in nonprofit governance and management, combined with over 30 years of recruiting experience in both the business and nonprofit sectors.

We understand that hiring the right leader does not automatically translate into great organizational performance over the long haul. All of our search contracts include providing onboarding and performance management planning to help ensure that the leaders we place transition well into their roles with clear areas of accountability. We work with our Executive Director/CEO search clients for a full year after a hire is made.

We leverage our depth of recruiting and consulting experience with hard work and intellectual rigor to ensure that our clients find the perfect fit­­ - for their mission, culture, values and their specific challenges.

WHY WE DO IT

Nonprofits cannot afford to spend valuable time and resources on the wrong hire. We believe that nonprofit organizations should have access to the same level of search expertise and service as large institutions and corporations. We take pride in delivering professional, high quality executive search services to social sector organizations of all sizes.

WHO WE ARE

All of our Principals have worked for nonprofits and have served on nonprofit boards. Our Principals have worked in management roles in both the nonprofit and corporate sectors, and we bring the strength of our combined expertise and experience to every search we undertake.
